Work in a high-stress job? A Minute for Mental Health delivers practical, skills-based mental health training and tools that create lasting behaviour change at work — built for the realities of high-pressure environments.
When “Just Push Through” Isn’t Working Anymore…
Most workplace mental health programs address awareness and crisis — but leave the hardest, most common challenges untouched.
Burnout, disengagement, turnover, and tension don’t happen all at once.
They build quietly—and they’re expensive.
These services are designed to address the root issues early, with practical tools your team can actually use.

What is an operational skill?
An operational skill is a practical, moment-to-moment skill that changes how you actually function in a stressful situation.
It’s the difference between knowing what matters and being able to act on it when it counts.
In helping roles, operational skills include things like:
Knowing what to say when someone is overwhelmed
Setting a clear boundary without escalating the situation
Grounding yourself while staying present with someone else
Managing competing demands in real time
These are skills you can apply immediately, under pressure, in the middle of the work—not something you have to step away to figure out.
If a skill doesn’t help you respond in the moment, it’s not operational.
“The [session] was a genuinely meaningful time and space for some reflection and connection over how we experience life. It permitted us to focus inward for the evening, something that can seem challenging in our VUCA world. Thank you for a thoughtful and impactful evening…I look forward to the next one.”
Workshop Participant“ [The workshop] creates an environment of warmth and openness, where I could approach my habits with a sense of curiosity and not judgement. Leaving the experience, I felt that the challenges I may face in the future will be more manageable with the additional tools in my toolbox.”
